You egg tart is a bit thick from the skin but you can just read some more recipe and try a few times . I think you need to get the 酥皮蛋挞, not the 洋人type of tart skin.
I’m only good at baking, no good at cooking and certainly no good at taking photos. I guess you can’t tell from the pics but these are 酥皮蛋撻! But take too long to make, so I usually make the other ones. I bake all the time…I just don’t bother to blog anymore, but one of these days I’ll update. I have recently discovered Twitter so you can follow me there in the meantime: http://www.twitter.com/bakingramblings
I’m not a fan of those 2 either butI must admit I’m of those who don’t know how to “appreciate” art But I do like Escher. But I know you know more about my country than you think…cheese+wooden shoes!! Yes, washing up is the one thing I HATE!!

Just want to know you better , I have checked out from the chinese wikipedia about Netherland .
So , It seems I know about Rembrandt and Vincent van Gogh’s art only. But personally like Monet more than anyone else.
Before baking , you need to buy and stock up a lot of ingredients at home. The most tedius job is after baking , I have to do all those washing !
