I finally caved…after having drooled over all these yummy foodblogs that are out there for years, I have decided to create my own.
But be warned, I’m very lazy and am also not a very good photographer so don’t expect frequent postings with pretty pictures!
My first post is of these very popular Horlicks doggie cookies that I made a while back.

Ingredients:
(makes 52 pieces)
(makes 52 pieces)
180g butter
80g Horlicks
100g chocolate chips ( I used chocolate sprinkles for eyes and nose)
200g top flour (I used all purpose flour)
25g corn flour (corn starch)
25g milk powder
One packet of Koko Krunch ( any type of crispy chocolate shell cereal will do)
200g top flour (I used all purpose flour)
25g corn flour (corn starch)
25g milk powder
One packet of Koko Krunch ( any type of crispy chocolate shell cereal will do)
Method:
Sieve top flour, corn flour and milk powder.
Cream butter and Horlicks for about three minutes at low speed. Do not overbeat.
Put in top flour, cornflour and milk powder and beat for about one minute to form dough.
Divide dough into 10g each. Put three chocolate chips into each piece of dough and roll into balls.
Insert two pieces of Koko Krunch to form the “ears” and a chocolate chip in the centre for the “nose”.
(I used 3 chocolate sprinkles to form eyes and mouth instead)
Bake at 140 deg C for about 25 minutes. Leave to cool before storing in an airtight container.
here are mine ready to go into the oven
and tadaaa…here they are all baked!

The cookies are cute ! But it need a lot of patience to do that.
Don’t use flash to shoot food photo. Just move your food near the light or adjust a button on the “white balance “, perhaps you will get better result.
I have found a webpage for your translate of 繁体中文to 简体中文 in my replied comment to you.
You still need to ” renovate” you blog .
Happy blogging.

Thank you! I think I enjoy reading other peoples’ blog more than I like to blog myself, and I’m ever so lazy too! And as you’ve noticed a terrible photographer as well…I took those pics late at night and without flash I got superdark photos so ended up with these ugly white ones
I’m not too sure I’ll continue this blog.
Yeah, took lots of hours to make those cookies very timeconsuming.

When you take photo at night , you can adjust your camera mode to “white balance ” and choose the right one like “fluorescent light” and you will get a better result.
